The display will show two consecutive
confi rming statements, beginning with
“JUMP JOB 00012:?”, for which you will
respond with yes/no, then “ENTER”
5
After your confi rmation, the job queue
will be changed, and a message will con-
fi rm that the selected job has been jumped
to Q0. All displaced jobs will move back one
position in que. Allow 6 to 8 seconds for the
system to refresh information.
Basic Procedure
BP4: Queue Jumping
6
After a brief interval, the display returns
to the current queue list. Repeat the
jump process if desired, else press “NEW”
to return to the “BUSY” display. DO NOT
press “ENTER” if you wish to escape from
the queue jump subroutine.
1
Begin with the program at home posi-
tion: “SPECTRUM 100, BUSY (or IDLE)”.
Press the “STATUS” key to begin the queue
jump procedure.
3
The next display shows status details for
dispense jobs. The fi rst line shows the
fl uid type and job number. The second line
shows a queue indicator (Q01234), in which
the highlighted queue item is the displayed
job.
For example, Q0 highlighted means the
current active job is displayed, Q2 high-
lighted means the second job in queue is
displayed, etc.
The second line also shows
the job station number, amount authorized
and amount dispensed. Scroll to highlight the
job you wish to place into immediate avail-
ability (for example, scroll to Q2). Then press
“ENTER” to jump the selected (highlighted)
job to Q0. All other jobs will move back one
space in the queue.
2
The prompt will ask “FLUID TYPE: ?”.
Select the fl uid type to be jumped by
using one of the four fl uid selector keys on
the console. After selection, the fl uid type
(such as “5W20”) will appear on line 2. You
can still edit the selection by pressing another
fl uid key. Then press “ENTER” to continue.
During these steps, if you make an entry
mistake, press “NEW” to return to
“SPEC-
TRUM 100, IDLE”
.
