Height / Weight Preset
Use the Height / Weight preset to automatically set air pressures in each section of cushions to target
pressures based on the patient’s height and weight.
Height / weight presets are a starting point for cushion air pressure and may not adjust cushions
perfectly for patient needs. Refer to
Air Pressure Adjustment section in the Patient Placement
chapter of this manual for proper settings and hand check procedures.
Height values can be adjusted from 4 ft 0 in (121 cm) to 6 ft 6 in (198 cm) in one-inch increments. Weight
values can be adjusted from 50 lb (22 kg) to 350 lb (159 kg) in five-pound increments.
1. With Main menu showing, press button for Height / Weight . The Height / Weight preset shown
above will appear.
If a change is not made within approximately one minute, the display will automatically return to
the
Home menu. All settings shown at the time will be automatically saved and become the current
settings.

To adjust height values:
• Press

Increase
button to increase height value.
• Press

Decrease
button to decrease height value.

To adjust weight values:
• Press
Weight
button: use
Increase
button to increase weight value.
• Press
Weight
button: use
Decrease
button to decrease weight value.

Press
Enter
button to save adjusted height and weight values and then return to the
Main
menu.
Manual adjustments override the height / weight preset target air pressures, even if the height /
weight preset is accessed again and the old height / weight preset values are saved. To override the
manually adjusted target air pressures with the height / weight preset, one of the height / weight
preset values must be adjusted, then saved.
