• Bar graph display shown at right will appear.
The individual bar graph for the adjusted
section of cushions (head, body, seat and leg)
will increase / decrease by one bar each time
the triangular button is pressed twice.
• The dotted line in each bar graph represents
height / weight preset target pressures.
• The solid lines represent manually adjusted target
pressure.
• The arrows on each side of the bar graphs
represent actual pressures. As cushions pulsate, arrows will rise and fall as alternating cushions in
the section inflate and deflate. Left arrows represent the pressure level in the foot-end side of that
section of cushions. Right arrows represent the pressure level in the head end side of that section of
cushions.

Allow sufficient time for cushions to respond to air pressure adjustments. The arrows shown on
each side of the bar graph should be allowed to move to the new setting, indicating that the target
pressure has been reached before additional adjustments are made.

Rotation Adjustment
Adjust rotation settings as described below:

• Zero rotate hour meter (if desired).

button to save settings.
• Read message for IV drainage and ventilator tubing and press button

• Accept or reject the acclimation option and return to the
Home
menu (if accepted), or the
Main
menu (if rejected).
Use the acclimation option to help the patient to adjust to Kinetic Therapy by increasing the degree of
rotation in a series of steps until the target rotation angle is reached. During acclimation, the patient
will rotate to 25° angle for six cycles, then increase 10° angle every six cycles until the target rotation
angle is reached.
