Common signals extra inputs

Common signals function has all START and TRIP signals of protection functions internally connected

to Common START and TRIP output signals. But it is also possible to assign extra signals to activate

Common START and TRIP.

Read-only parameters

The relay's

Info page displays useful, real-time information on the state of the protection function. It is

accessed either through the relay's HMI display, or through the setting tool software when it is

connected to the relay and its Live Edit mode is active.

Function blocking

Common signals function itself doesn't have blocking input signals. Blocking of tripping should be done

in each protection function settings.

Events and registers

The common signals function (abbreviated "GNSIG" in event block names) generates events and

registers from the status changes in START and TRIP. The user can select which event messages are

stored in the main event buffer: ON, OFF, or both.

The events triggered by the function are recorded with a time stamp and with process data values.
