When a section is armed when the control panel is in the maintenance mode, and a detector in the armed
section is activated, the same alarm report will appear on the LCD display as if the control panel would
function normally. The programmed alarm outputs and dialler remain inactivated. When a logprinter is used,
the reports will be printed out and the reports will be added to the historical overview.
In screen 6 of the programming, Maintenance outputs can be programmed, which will be activated when the
control panel is set to the maintenance mode. Some detectors have Test inputs which, when activated,
control the walktest LED. When these inputs are connected to the programmed maintenance output(s),
activating the maintenance mode will automatically activate the walktest LED’s.
Activating and deactivating the maintenance mode is saved in the historical overview.
F28# Program zone settings on the LCD keypad
The AlphaVision NG control panel can only be fully programmed with a laptop or PC, but making small
changes in the zone settings can be done on the keypad.
Often small changes in the zone programming must be made, such as making the entry delay longer, etc. For
these changes the control panel casing does not have to be opened any more, this can now done on the
keypad using function 28. All zone settings except for the zone name (for which you need a PC’s keyboard)
can be changed on the keypad.
Press <?> <2> <8> <#>, followed by the installer code. The following message will appear on the display:
Enter zone

To edit zone 1, enter <0> <1> <#>. The display will change to:
