16 Maintaining and caring for the machine
This section contains information on cleaning, maintaining, tuning, and caring for your sprayer.
A precondition for the problem-free use of the sprayer is its regular maintenance.
Attention!
- When carrying out maintenance and care, observe safety regulations.
- Maintenance and adjustment of moving parts located in an elevated position may be carried
out only if they are secured against movement by safeguards designed for this purpose.
Description:
- Regular and professional maintenance allows for long-term use of the sprayer and prevents
early wear and tear. Regular and professional maintenance is the basic prerequisite for
acknowledging the warranty.
- Use only original spare parts.
- Use only original hoses and only stainless steel fasteners for attaching.
- A prerequisite for repair and maintenance are particularly professional knowledge.
This knowledge, however, is not contained in the contents of this manual.
- During the cleaning and maintenance of this machine, take care to protect the environment
and observe associated regulations.
- Observe prescribed methods of liquidation of working materials such as oils and greases.
These rules shall also apply to the disposal of parts that come into contact with these
substances.
- When lubricating with a high-pressure pistol, the pressure must not exceed 400 bars.
- When servicing, interrupt the power supply to the computer and the control panel; this is
especially true for welding on the sprayer.
- The following are prohibited in principle:
- Drilling on the chassis.
- Drilling over existing holes in the chassis.
- Welding on the support components of the chassis.
- Cover cables and tubing at critical points:
- When welding, drilling and grinding.
- When working with cutting pliers close the plastic power lines.

Before any repairs, wash the sprayer thoroughly with water.
- Do not begin any repairs to the sprayer when the sprayer pump is being driven.
- Only after thoroughly washing the inside of the tank can repairs in the tank take place. There
must be a ladder inside the tank.
16.1 Cleaning
- Regularly cleaning the sprayer is a precondition for professional maintenance and ease of
operation.
- Examine normal corrosion on the machine. Pay special attention to the brake, air and hydraulic
lines.
- After cleaning, lubricate the sprayer, especially after washing with high-pressure equipment or
steam or degreasing agents.
- Follow the rules for handling the detergents.
