10 Applying the spray mix
Before applying the pesticides, observe the following recommendations.
Attention!
Do not switch on the nozzles when the booms are not extended.

When choosing a nozzle, pay attention to the manufacturer's recommendations; select the
nozzle and pressure according to driving speed and force of the wind.
- During application, avoid overlapping the spray to prevent overdosing and damaging the
crops.
- Overlapping is also a risk when turning at the headland. When turning, the inner boom sprays
on the same spot and may result in multiple overlaps.
- Avoid spraying your neighbor's property!
- A speed of up to 6 km/h at standard nozzle pressure of 1 - 2.0 bars reduces drift.
At this point it is worth stressing the priority of low-drift injector nozzles.
This is why we recommend these nozzles against drift.

The best conditions for ensuring an application without drift: wind 3 m/s, especially in the
morning and evening, with humidity above 40%.
10.1 With standard equipment
After the booms are extended into working position, the following must be ensured before
application:

Valves must be closed during spraying, if they are mounted.
- Turn the valve to "spray".
- The hose flushing valve must be closed (optional equipment).
- Enter the required values in the computer.
- The switch must be set to automatic, and cabin computer must be on.
- The boom extension checklight must be lit. If not, the booms are not fully distributed.
- Turn on the piston diaphragm pump.
- Start travel.
- Turn on the section valves.
- Turn on the main spray valve.
Attention!
The pump speed must not exceed 540 RPMs!
The fluid pressure at the nozzle can be checked on the glycerin manometer on the rail platforms.
At the end of the track, turning the switch to the main shut-off valve to "stop" immediately turns
off the spray.
