13.1.2 Precautions for standard boom expansion
- Extend and fold the booms only in the top position after switching the hydraulic cube on the
lift piston.
- The booms extend and fold through chain pulls and cranks in a single run.
- The booms extend and fold from the control panel in the cab of the tractor only in conjunction
with the tractor's hydraulic distributor.
- The booms can be extended and folded from the tractor cab only with the hydraulic distributor
if the tractor has a certain number of pressurized hydraulic functions.
Attention!
When spraying in dense vegetation, in rapeseed for example, the boom antennas must be
removed, otherwise the plant can get tangled in the antennae and damage the booms!
13.1.3 Expanding
- Raise the folded booms to their upper limit.
- Extend the booms until the "check" light turns on (3 Fig. 6/1)
- Set the extended booms to the desired working height.
13.1.4 Folding
Preparing for transport position:
-
Raise the booms to their upper limit.
- Switch the boom tilt (4 Fig. 6/1) to the potentiometer.
- Fold the booms.
- Make sure that the booms are resting completely on the front and rear supports.
Attention!
Extend and fold the booms without interrupting the motion!
