When filling, observe the following instructions:
-
Make sure the drain valve on the bottom of the tank is closed or opened towards the pump.
- The suction hose should be connected to the quick connector.
- Turn on the hydraulic system of the tractor with the appropriate valve.
- the piston diaphragm pump need not be running, and the drive can be switched off.
- switch on the valve to the hydraulics to suction the centrifugal pump.
- after reaching the desired quantity of liquid in the tank, turn off the pump by closing the
supply of oil to the hydraulic motor of the centrifugal pump.
Attention!
First shut off the inlet to the hydraulics and then remove the suction hose. Sucking air into the
tank could cause foaming and overflow the tank.
Attention!
The hose connected to the quick connector of the pumps must have a diameter of min. 60 mm!
A reversing hydraulic hose from the hydraulic pump must always be connected to the "0"
branch of the tractor hydraulics, or directly as overflow onto the tractor housing!
9.2 Filling the clean water tank
Clean water is used for flushing the sprayer, diluting the residual amount of mix, and for cleaning
the filter screens and hands. Always fill the clean water tank only with clean tap water.
9.2.1 Standard filling
- Use a hose from the normal water supply to fill the tank with clean water through the lid.
- Monitor the amount of clean water entering the tank.
- After reaching the sufficient filling amount, close the water tap valve.
9.3 Filling with pesticides using the Ecomixer without Comfort Fill
The sprayer manufacturer has designed it for normally filling with chemicals through the
Ecomixer.
Chemicals can also be filled through the tank lid, provided that a screen basket is situated below
the lid (with the exception of the use of water-soluble pesticide bags).
Out of principle, always count the exact amount of chemicals you will (still) need in advance.
Follow the instructions for use of the individual preparations for plant protection which are
specific in their chemical composition and formulation.
Use the prescribed amount of water and chemicals according to the pesticide manufacturer's
instructions for use.
Read instructions well concerning the use of pesticides and follow the safety recommendations
indicated.
