Prerequisite steps are executed automatically if not already done.

Valve Bypass

The injection valve switches into the bypass posi-
tion.

Plunger Home

The metering piston moves into the home posi-
tion.

Valve Bypass

Needle Up

The needle arm moves into the upper position.

Vial to Seat

The gripper arm moves the specified vial to the 
needle seat.

Needle into Sample

The needle arm moves down and the needle pene-
trates into the vial.

NOTE

Always the default needle offset value (0.0 mm) is 
applied.

The metering device draws the specified volume 
into the loop capillary.

NOTE

This step can be performed multiple times, 
although the maximum volume of the analytical 
head will not be exceeded. Use
