Working with integers
In the data lists, the following data format is used for integer data such as "16-bit signed integer":
Bit order and byte order are illustrated in the following example (general little-endian system).
Example: The setting for 350 (decimal) = 0 × 015E (hexadecimal) in the 16-bit range of offset 9–10 looks
like this.
Working with negative numbers
For negative numbers, the two's complement representation is used. For example, when using 8-bit signed
integers, "−1" corresponds to "0 × FF" and "−128" corresponds to "0 × 80".
