Sound Reports
Cantar may generate Sound Reports after Backup or whenever the user wants from the Audio
Browser Menu (Snap Report).
I. Setting up the reports
Sound Reports are setup in the Session Menu (while the Main Selector is in the 2 o'clock
position).
•
Report Type
Select the first item of the Report setup line and press the Ok button.
Choose whether to generate (or not) PDF, CSV or ALE reports.

Take filter
Select the second item of the Report setup line and press
the Ok button.
Choose whether to filter Takes into reports according to
selected take types. Up to 3 filters may be set up generating
3 different reports.
Select the “# of reports field” using the Plus(+) and Minus(-) buttons. Then
use the Left and Right buttons to select how many reports are needed.
Select each report take filter field and press the Left or Right buttons to edit
the take filter. It will display a menu where selected take type are checked.
Using the Plus(+) and Minus(-) buttons to select the take type and the Left and Right
buttons to check or uncheck, a take type filter may be set up.

Report Header & Data
Select the third item (“Setup Pdf”) of the Report setup line and press the Ok button.
Select the appropriate field and press the OK button to edit it.

Header
The header of the PDF report is made of 5 lines and 7 columns.
NB
: During Report generation, if one parameter along the header data is different from one take
to another (for example Digit or TC Fps), a new page is added.
Use the direction buttons to select a cell and press the OK button to edit it. (Pict. 89).
Some data types are 2 cells wide (for example Prod, Title etc...), other only 1.
NB : • While changing a cell type, if a 2-cell wide field got its second field replaced by
another field, the first field is painted in dotted red to highlight that it will be erased if the
current change is confirmed
