Ms decoding into Mixdown
For MS pair, only 4 PanPot positions are available:
•
M is sent to the Left and S is not sent to Mixdown.
•
M is sent to the Right and S is not sent to Mixdown.
•
M & S are not sent to Mixdown.
•
M & S to the Center: the MS pair is decoded, post-fader, by changing the S-track level, the
width of the decoded stereo signal is changed.

Track settings
i.
Track Status : Arm / Disarm
Pressing the Shift+F3 buttons arms or dis-arms the currently selected Track.
ii.
Track Level
For tracks with no actuator assigned, it is possible to modify the Track level directly from the
Ingrid by turning the Jog wheel while holding the Shift button pressed.

Talk to Tracks
Pressing the C Left or Right buttons (= Talk) while hodling the Shift button pressed, routes
the Slate Mics to the Outputs and to the Tracks.
It is possible to select the tracks where the Talk is routed : All Tracks ; One of the 16 tracks ; Mix
tracks. The tracks selected are symbolized by the black dots behind the track index on top of the
grid. Change the selected tracks by pressing the Shift + F2 buttons.
II. Track Metering
On the right part of the Record, PPR and Test screens, Vumeters are automatically displayed
according to the number of Track used in current InGrid, in group of 4, with a minimum of 12.
i.e if 12 or less tracks are used, 16 tracks are displayed then between 13 and 16 tracks used.

Track's number is under each Vumeter. It is the colored with the color type of the first
input routed to the Track.
•
Vumeters can be divided into 3 color zones which can be set up in the Audio-Timecode
Menu.
•
A blue line can be added to put a reference at a level which can be set up in the
Audio-TC Menu.
• Above the Vumeter according to the Display Mix Track Level option may appear:
◦ Mix Track Gain
◦ Current Track Audio Level
• A Triangle above the Vumeter symbolises the Limiter (if enabled on an input routed to the
Track). The triangle is grey if the Limiter is enabled but not currently in action. It blinks
yellow as soon as the Limiter begins its action (it continues to blink for 3 seconds after the
Limiter's action has ended).
•
A Red square above the Vumeter symbolizes the Clip Level.
•
The low segment of the vumeter shows how the track is sent to the Mixdown.
