Setting up Inputs
10 inputs (4 Mics ; 2 Lines ; 4 Aes-42) are available.
Inputs are set up in their
Solo
page : many parameters can be modified (
Phantom power,
limiter, filter, EQ ). It is also a way of modifying the gain of inputs which have no actuator
assigned.
During the Solo, only the selected input will be heard in the headphones.
Solos can be accessed in
Record (12 o'clock), Pre-Record (11 o'clock) and Test (10 o'clock)
positions.
I. Triggering a Solo
1.
Input with an actuator
The Solo Panel of an input is obtained by pressing the Solo button of the actuator assigned to the
input.
A short-press on the Solo button opens the Solo panel which is closed by pressing the Solo
button or the ESC button. If the Solo button is pressed and held, the Solo panel is closed upon
release of the Solo button.

nput with no actuator
It is possible to open the Solo panel by :
- Opening the Solo panel of any input and then pressing the Shift + Control and Plus (+) or
Minus(-) buttons to obtain the desired input type Solo and then pressing the Control and Plus (+)
or Minus(-) buttons to obtain the desired Solo index.
Or
- Opening the Solo Panel of a track with the desired input routed and then by pressing the Left or
Right button.
II. Mic
In the Mic-Solo panel, you can:

Set the Phantom Power ON/OFF,
•
Enable or disable the Limiter
•
Enable or disable the Phase Inversion
•
Set the Preamp parameters:

Pre-Attenuation (Mic Level, Line level, High level).

Filter
•
Set the Digital filter parameters. (EQ)

Phantom
Toggle the Phantom Mic Power (48V) On or Off by pressing the Shift + F4 buttons.
Turn it 'OFF' while using a dynamic microphone, the preamp gain will be boosted by 12dBu.
2.
Limiter
Toggle the Limiter On/Off by pressing the Ctrl + F1 buttons.
While the Limiter is turned 'ON', a grey triangle is displayed above the Track where the Mic is
