Once the camera is attached, it can be rotated into any of three view-positions by supporting the
camera, removing the thumbscrew described in Figure 26, rotating the arm, and replacing the
thumbscrew in the appropriate hole. The middle hole provides a level view and the bottom hole
provides an upward-view. This procedure is discussed in section 6.
During operation there are two cables attached to the camera; a power cable and an IEEE 1394
(Firewire) cable. This is also discussed in section 6.

Installing the DeltaSphere Color Option Software
The DeltaSphere-3000 Color Option software is embedded in SceneVision software. This
software provides camera control, image acquisition, and color-mapping functions. If you
purchased the color option at the same time as your DeltaSphere-3000, it is already installed. If
not, follow the installation instructions that came with your DeltaSphere-3000 Color Option
shipment.
5.2.1
IEEE 1394 and Camera Driver
The DeltaSphere-3000 color option uses an IEEE 1394 (FireWire) connection between the
controller PC and the FUJIFILM camera for communication, control, and image acquisition.
Some PCs and laptops have a 1394 connection built in, or it can be added with a peripheral card.
Fuji requires an OHCI-compliant 1394 card. If you get a separate 1394 card, follow the card
manufacturer’s instructions for 1394 card installation (with XP, in most cases, simply installing
the card is all that is necessary.)
The DeltaSphere-3000 uses the Fuji 1394 control driver for the FUJIFILM camera. Please
install the software on the ‘Hyper-Utility Software’ CD that comes with the FinePix S2Pro
camera. It includes the necessary 1394 control driver and a ‘Camera Shooting Software’ utility
that allows testing of software control of the camera. If you purchased your laptop from
3rdTech, all the software has been fully installed.
