Pannoramic 250 FLASH III 3.0.2 User’s Guide

4.2 Main window functions

Slide/magazine control

Note:

The slide sensor has an optoelectronic gate, and a lever. At the slide loading position, the

lever is lifted into the gate and shutters the lightbeam. If there is no slide in the loader
arm, the lever cannot be lifted into the gate and this way, the lightbeam is not shuttered.

Upon clicking the slide icon or entering slide position number at the right side and clicking

Load

, the slide can be loaded.

Unload the slide by clicking

Unload

next to slide image, and unload the magazine by clicking

Unload all

next to the rack image.

Set magazine number in the value box at the left of the control bar, then click

Change

to load

another magazine in the feeder.

If there is a lens marking at the bottom of the position preview in the magazine image, the

preview image of that slide has already been created, and if a question mark is displayed the
slide was not yet loaded. A slide that is loaded at the moment is highlighted with a blue

background and outer line.

Live view is on

Live view is on with the shutter closed

Toolbar for live images

Click to display the toolbar for Live view. These functions are only available for the

displayed live image (i. e. Live view is ON), but not available for camera images during
digitization.

When in

Normal live mode,

the images are taken with the user-specified exposure time.

One pixel on the monitor corresponds to one pixel on the camera
