System Commands
This chapter shows you the information about the system and gives a summary of
commands available.

System Commands Overview
These are commands that you may use frequently in configuring and maintaining your switch.

System Configuring
The rest of this chapter shows commonly used command examples. System is a tool that can be
used to monitor your Prestige. Specifically, it gives you information on your VDSL telephone
line status, number of packets sent and received. Note that these fields are READ-ONLY and are
meant to be used for diagnostic purposes.

sys Commands
These are the commonly used commands that belong to the sys (system) group of commands.

display
Displays the CPU’s utilization.
counter
This command displays the MAC and
SAR counters from the CPU.
cpu
clrcntr
This command clears the CPU’s
MAC and SAR counters.
spt
save
This command stores the
configuration in the non-volatile
memory.
adjtime
Retrieves the date and time from the
time server specified in SMT menu

callhist
display
Displays the call history.
remove
<index>
Removes an entry from the call
history.
countrycode
[countrycode]
Sets or displays the country code.
date
[year
month
date]
Sets or displays the system’s current
date.
