Description of the modules
The S8 ceiling mount comprises the articulated arm, the suspension arm
with the lamp housing, and the control panel.
The articulated arm consists of a lift arm and carrier arm. The lift function
permits the ceiling mount to be brought into a parking position. A grip is
provided for the vertical adjustment of the ceiling mount.
The suspension arm with the lamp housing and the control panel are
mounted on the carrier arm. The control panel can be turned through
180°; it contains all electrical supply systems required for the control of a
motorized surgical microscope. You can control the motorized functions
via a foot control panel or hand control panel.
The suspension arm permits almost effortless positioning of the surgical
microscope. The spring force of the suspension arm can be varied in a
range from 8 to 20 kg, permitting reliable balancing of the microscope
even with heavy accessory equipment attached. The range of downward
movement of the suspension arm can be adjusted as required using the
screw for limiting downward travel.
