Connecting the Power Supply
Before Connecting the Power
To prevent the possibility of electric shock and damage to the instrument, follow the
warnings below.
WARNING
• Before connecting the power cord, ensure that the source voltage matches the
rated supply voltage of the WT210/WT230 and that it is within the maximum
rated voltage of the provided power cord.
• Connect the power cord after checking that the power switch of the instrument is
turned OFF.
• To prevent the possibility of electric shock or fire, always use the power cord
supplied by YOKOGAWA.
• Make sure to perform protective grounding to prevent the possibility of electric
shock. Connect the power cord to a three-pin power outlet with a protective
earth terminal.
• Do not use an extension cord without protective earth ground. Otherwise, the
protection function will be compromised.
Connecting the Power Cord
1.
Check that the power switch is OFF.
2.
Connect the power cord plug to the power connector on the WT210/WT230.
(Use the power cord that came with the package.)
3.
Connect the plug on the other end of the power cord to the outlet that meets the
conditions below. The AC outlet must be of a three-pin type with a protective
earth ground terminal.

The WT210/WT230 can use a 100-V or a 200-V system for the power supply. The maximum
rated voltage of the power cord varies depending on its type. Check that the voltage supplied
to the WT210/WT230 is less than or equal to the maximum rated voltage of the provided
power cord (see page iii) before using it.
