SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
CAUTION!
Read all of the following instructions. Failure to do
so may result in electric shock,
fi
re, or personal injury.
FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW
Instructions for use
The device’s pump is intended only for pumping water-based
liquids. It is forbidden to use any
fl
ammable liquids, e.g. petrol,
diesel oil, solvents, alcohol, etc. It is forbidden to use caustic
liquids, acids and bases, including diluted ones. Do not use
abrasive liquids, as the solid particles present in such liquids
will quickly damage the pump. The device must be kept un-
der supervision at all times during operation. Do not allow the
pump to operate dry. This will cause the pump to overheat,
which can damage it and cause
fi
re or electrical shock.
The pump must not be used in any other manner than when
installed in the washer. The pump must not be used: for pump-
ing drinking water; for continuous operation, for example, for
supplying a fountain with water; for pumping water or liquid at
a temperature higher than that speci
fi
ed in the technical data
table.
The washer is not intended for medical use.
If leaks are detected, stop the pump immediately, remove the
power cord plug from the socket and remove the leaks before
resuming operation.
It is forbidden to repair, disassemble or modify the device on
one’s own. All repairs to the product must be carried out by an
authorised service centre.
Always wear personal protective equipment when using the
product, such as goggles or liquid-splash-proof goggles, pro-
tective gloves, upper respiratory tract protection, footwear with
non-slip soles and protective clothing.
Do not smoke while working and do not approach the device
with an open
fl
ame.
The device is not intended for use by children under at least
8 years of age and by persons with reduced physical and/or
mental abilities and by persons without experience in or un-
derstanding of the operation of the device, unless they will be
supervised or instructed to use the device safely, in a man-
ner ensuring that the risks involved are understood. Children
should not play with the device. Unattended children should
not be allowed to perform the cleaning and maintenance of
the device.
Recommendations for connecting the device to the power
supply
Warning! The device should be powered by a residual current
device (RCD) with a rated di
ff
erential current of not more than
30 mA.
Before connecting the device to the power supply, make sure
that the voltage, frequency and performance of the power sup-
ply corresponds to the values shown on the device’s rating
plate. The plug must
fi
t into the outlet. It is forbidden to modify
the plug in any way.
The power supply circuit must be
fi
tted with a protective con-
ductor and at least a 16 A protective device.
Avoid contact of the power cord with sharp edges, hot objects
or surfaces. During operation, the power cord must always be
fully extended and the position of the power cord must be set
so that it does not become an obstacle during operation. The
power cord shall not be placed a manner that would pose a
risk of tripping. The power supply socket should be located in a
place where it is always possible to quickly remove the device
power cord plug. Always pull the power cord by the plug hous-
ing when unplugging it, never by the cord.
If the power cord or the plug are damaged, immediately dis-
connect it from the power supply and contact an authorised
service centre of the manufacturer for replacement. Do not use
the device with a damaged power cord or plug. The power cord
or plug cannot be repaired and must be replaced with a new
one that is free of defects if these components are damaged.
Recommendations concerning transport and installation of the
device
Warning! Do not immerse the pump entirely in water or any
other liquid. The pump switch or the cable connection must
never be placed under the surface of water or other liquids.
Do not expose the device to precipitation. The device is intend-
ed for indoor use only.
