Carburetor Switch
Refer to

1. Open the shroud.
2. Adjust the throttle cable free play as described in
Chapter Three.
3. Locate the carburetor switch at the carburetor and dis-
connect the electrical connector.
4. Set an ohmmeter on the R

scale.
5. Connect the ohmmeter to the

terminals on the carburetor switch connector. Test as fol-
lows:
a. The ohmmeter should read zero ohms when operat-
ing the throttle lever.

6. If the carburetor switch does not include the readings
specified, replace the carburetor switch.

ing diagram at the end of this manual and check the com-
ponent by testing for continuity (resistance).
