1. Remove:

• water pump seal

NOTE:

Tap out the water pump seal from the inside of
the AC magneto cover

2. Remove:

• bearing

• oil seal

NOTE:

Tap out the bearing and oil seal from the out-
side of the AC magneto cover

CHECKING THE WATER PUMP

1. Check:

• water pump housing
• impeller shaft

Cracks/damage/wear

→

Replace.

2. Check:

• water jacket
• water jacket outlet hose
• water jacket outlet pipe
