1. Remove:

• seat
• right side panel

Refer to “SEAT AND SIDE PANELS”.

• rear fender

Refer to “REAR CARRIER AND REAR
FENDER”.

• V-belt cooling duct 2

Refer to “ENGINE REMOVAL” in chapter 4.

2. Check:

• fuel hose

Cracks/damage

→

Replace.

Loose connection

→

Connect properly.

3. Install:

• V-belt cooling duct 2

Refer to “ENGINE REMOVAL” in chapter 4.

• rear fender

Refer to “REAR CARRIER AND REAR
FENDER”.

• right side panel
• seat

Refer to “SEAT AND SIDE PANELS”.

1. Remove:

• left side panel

Refer to “SEAT AND SIDE PANELS”.

• air filter case

Refer to “AIR FILTER CASE”.

2. Check:

• cylinder head breather hose

• breather hose (air filter case to throttle

body)

• breather hose (air filter case to fast idle

plunger unit)

Cracks/damage

→

Replace.

Loose connection

→

Connect properly.

CAUTION:

Make sure the breather hoses are routed
correctly.
