NOTE:

Engine idling speed and throttle cable free play
should be adjusted properly before checking
the ignition timing.

1. Remove:

• left side panel
• right side panel

Refer to “SEAT AND SIDE PANELS”.

• footrest board

Refer to “FOOTREST BOARDS”.

2. Attach:

• tachometer
• timing light

(to spark plug lead)
