8. Check the main switch.
Refer to “CHECKING THE
SWITCHES” on page 8-247. Replace the main switch/immobilizer unit.
9. Check the start/engine stop switch.
Refer to “CHECKING THE
SWITCHES” on page 8-247.
• The start/engine stop switch is faulty.
• Replace the right handlebar switch.
10.Check the gear position switch.
Refer to “CHECKING THE GEAR
POSITION SWITCH” on page
8-264.
Replace the gear position switch.
11.Check the sidestand switch.
Refer to “CHECKING THE
SWITCHES” on page 8-247. Replace the sidestand switch.
12.Check the relay unit (diode).
Refer to “CHECKING THE RELAY
UNIT (DIODE)” on page 8-256. Replace the relay unit.
13.Check the lean angle sensor
(FJR13AG).
Refer to “CHECKING THE LEAN
ANGLE SENSOR (FJR13AG)” on
page 8-259.
Replace the lean angle sensor
(FJR13AG).
14.Check the entire ignition system
wiring.
Refer to “CIRCUIT DIAGRAM
(FJR13AG)” on page 8-1 or refer to
“CIRCUIT DIAGRAM (FJR13ESG)”
on page 8-3.
Properly connect or replace the wire har-
ness.
Replace the ECU or IMU (Inertial Mea-
surement Unit) (FJR13ESG). Refer to
“REPLACING THE ECU (engine con-
trol unit)” on page 8-250.
