Push the “MENU” switch to switch the display
between the following functions. The display
changes each time the switch is pushed.
FJR13AG:
• Grip warmer adjusting function
• Information display selection function
• Windshield adjusting function
FJR13ESG:
• Grip warmer adjusting function
• Information display selection function
• Windshield adjusting function
• Damping force adjusting function
• Preload adjusting function
TIP
The preload adjusting function will appear only
when the vehicle is stopped with the engine run-
ning.
The following pages contain an explanation of
the grip warmer, information display, and wind-
shield functions. For an explanation of the pre-
load and damping force adjusting functions,
refer to “ADJUSTING THE PRELOAD OF THE
REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY
(FJR13ESG)” on page 3-23 and “ADJUSTING
THE DAMPING FORCE (FJR13ESG)” on page
3-21.
Adjusting the grip warmer
1. This vehicle is equipped with grip warmers,
which can only be used when the engine is
running. There are 4 grip warmer settings.
To increase the grip warmer temperature,
push the “
” side of the select switch. To de-
crease the grip warmer temperature, push
the “
” side of the select switch.
NOTICE
ECA20750
• Be sure to wear gloves when using the grip
warmers.
• If the ambient temperature is 20 °C (68 °F)
or higher, do not set the grip warmer to the
high setting.
• If the handlebar grip or throttle grip be-
comes worn or damaged, stop using the
grip warmers and replace the grips.
Selecting the information display
There are 3 information displays. The selected
information display can be switched by pushing
the select switch.
The following items are shown in the information
displays:
A. FJR13AG:

2. Grip warmer adjusting function
3. Information display selection function
B. FJR13ESG:
1. Grip warmer adjusting function
