Using the Pagis Print Driver to create XIF documents
Pagis Pro enables you to scan hard copy documents and store
them as XIF documents in Windows.
However, what if you want to turn an electronic document such
as a word processor file, spreadsheet, slide presentation, or other
format into a XIF file?
For example, you might want to assemble data from a number of
different sources, and mail, fax, or store the information as a
single XIF document.
You can do this with the Pagis Print Driver. When you install
Pagis Pro software, the Pagis Print Driver is automatically
included. You select it in Windows just as you would any other
printer on your system.
Note
The Pagis Print Driver works in Windows 95 only. It does not
work in Windows 98 or Windows NT.
To use the Print Driver, and convert an electronic document into
XIF format, use the following procedure:
1. Open the document you want to convert to XIF in its
native program.
For example, open a document in Microsoft® Word™.
