TRANSMISSION

(E) Disassembling Shuttle Section

Speed Change Cover

1. Remove the speed change cover (1).
(When reassembling)

• When reassembling the speed change cover (1), set the shifter

and fork in neutral position.

• Apply liquid gasket (Three Bond 1216 or equivalent) to seam of

speed change cover and clutch housing.

• Apply grease to the guide chip (2) so as not to drop it.

Oil Pipe

1. Screw in the M6 x Pitch 1.0 mm screw (1) to the oil pipe (2).
2. Pull out the oil pipe (2) as shown in figure.
(When reassembling)

• Replace oil pipes (2) with new one.
• Apply transmission fluid to the oil pipes (2).
• Tap in the oil pipes (2) secure.
