17.3.2.1 Removing the pumphead
Procedure
1. Stop the pump.
2. Isolate the pump from electrical power.
3. Drain down the fluid path in accordance with your organisation’s procedure
4. Remove the inlet and
discharge
fluid path connections pumphead (protecting the pump from any
process fluid spillages), by unscrewing the connection collars and gently pulling the connections off
the pumphead ports. See illustration below.
Procedure
5. Fully loosen the two pumphead retaining clamps by hand. Do not use a tool.
