Controls and indicators of the MCU

23.7.2.5 Processor Board (DMC50)

There are two LED indicators and one recessed RESET control

on the Processor Board. These are shown in Fig 23-33.

Reset Control:

The RESET control is recessed behind the front panel of the

Processor Board to prevent accidental operation. It can be acti-

vated by gently pushing a pen nib through the hole provided on

the Processor Board front panel. Activating the RESET control

causes the MCU to stop program execution and commence self

tests.

Reset LED:

This LED is illuminated when the processor is in reset state. The

reset may occur due to internal watchdog or when the recessed

RESET control of the Processor Board is pressed. During normal

operations the RESET LED should be off.
