Configuration of the Process Data for
PROFIBUS DP
The configuration of the process data is fieldbus specific at some I/O modules
and their variations.
The following section describes the representation for WAGO I/O SYSTEM 750
and 753 Series I/O modules in the process image of PROFIBUS DP, as well as
the configuration of the process values.
12.2.1
Fieldbus Coupler (Process Data Channel)
The PI configurations of the process data channel are divided into the following
module types:

If available, fieldbus coupler services can be executed via the process data
channel.

Position of the configuration modules
One of these configuration modules has to be configured on slot number 1 of the
configuration table.
If not, the fieldbus coupler returns a configuration error to the BUS LED and in
the status message of the PROFIBUS diagnostics.
