The MS-DOS drive selected under
Drive
ls the hard disk drive O that is connected with the
!DE adapter or hard disk controller (e.g. WD\003),
which is in a PC/AT slot of the Amiga. The hard
disk parameters have to be inserted manually.
The MS-DOS drive selected under

is the IDE hard disk drive O , that is
connected with the IDE adapter
being plugged into a PC/AT slot of the Amiga. The
hard disk parameters are handed over
automatically
by the IDE hard disk drive (this
function must be supported by the corresponding
IDE hard disk drive).
