NO CASO DE PROBLEMAS DE FUN-
CIONAMENTO DA BATERIA, O SISTE-
MA ABS - ASR SE DESATIVA.
ASR SYSTEM CALIBRATION PROCE-
DURE.
In order to maintain the effectiveness of
the ASR system following the replace-
ment of one or both tyres a calibration
procedure of the system must be per-
formed as follows on a straight flat stretch
of road. Please note that the request for
activation of the procedure (steps 1 to 4)
must be completed within 60 sec from ig-
nition on the engine.
• It is necessary that the diagnostic phase
of the ASR systems and ABS is com-
plete: for this purpose, after the key ON,
ride a short distance above 5 km/h and
wait for the flashing of the ABS warning
light and ASR icon to stop.
• Turn the ASR system off by pressing the
button «
1
» on the handlebar and check
that the ASR disabling icon «
2
» is on.
• Allow the engine to idle for at least 3
seconds.
• Press the ASR on/off button «
1
» and
one of the two brake levers simultane-
ously for at least 4 seconds. The activa-

Para manter a eficácia do sistema ASR
após a substituição de um ou ambos os
pneus, é necessário efetuar um procedi-
mento de calibragem do sistema segun-
do as seguintes modalidades sobre um
trecho reto de estrada plana. Convém
notar que o pedido de ativação do pro-
cedimento (passos 1 a 4) deve ser con-
cluído no prazo de 60 segundos após a
ignição do motor.
• É importante que a fase de diagnóstico
dos sistemas ASR e ABS seja concluída:
para esse fim, após colocar a chave em
ON, percorra uma curta distância acima
de 5 km/h e aguarde o apagamento do
lampejo do indicador luminoso ABS e do
ícone ASR.
• Desative o sistema ASR mediante a
pressão da tecla específica no guiador
«
1
» e verifique se o ícone de desativação
do ASR «
2
» está aceso.
• Deixe o motor girar no mínimo por pelo
menos 3 segundos.
