Cha ng ing the batteries in rem ote control
unit
Replace the batteries in accordance with
the Service Booklet or when the rang e of
the remote control starts to become
red uced.
Open the battery compartment by
unclipping the two halv es.
Ensure the new b atteries are installed
correctly, "+ " side uppermost.
Close the battery com partment by clipping
together the two halves.
Make sure that you dispose of old b atteries
in accordance with environmenta l
protection regulations.
Note
If the central locking system

or anti-theft
alarm system cannot be operated with the
remote control, this may be due to the
following reasons:
z
The remote control is out of range.
z
The battery voltage of the rem ote
control is too low. Change the batteries
in the remote control unit.
z
The remote control has been operated
many times in succession outsid e the
vehicle’s reception range (e.g. at too
great a distance from the vehicle). The
rem ote control must be reprogrammed
by a workshop. We recommend your
Vauxhall Approved Repairer.
