In the event of an accident with
airbag deployment, the engine is
switched off automatically if the
vehicle comes to a standstill within a
certain time.
In countries with extremely low
temperatures it may be necessary to
park the vehicle without applied
parking brake. Make sure to park the
vehicle on a level surface.
Air suspension
Caution
Components under the body may
be damaged when driving with the
air suspension set too high or too
low, respectively.
The height may be adjusted
automatically to take account of
changes in temperature or
loading.
Do not adjust the height of the sill
level manually if somebody is
working underneath the vehicle, if
a wheel is being changed or if the
vehicle is being transported by a
lorry, train, ferry, boat, etc.
In order to avoid injuries or
damages, always check that
nobody or nothing is underneath
the vehicle before adjusting the
height of the air suspension.
To facilitate the loading or unloading
of the vehicle, the height of the rear
loading sill can be adjusted.
Manual adjustment
The system provides seven preset
loading heights:
● Normal sill level 0
● Three higher sill levels from +1 to
+3
● Three lower sill levels from -1 to
-3
