Set the jack to the necessary
height. Position it directly below
the jacking point in a manner that
prevents it from slipping.
With the jack correctly aligned
rotate the wheel wrench until the
wheel is clear of the ground.
6. If equipped with a side step the
jack has to be positioned at 45° to
not interfere with the side step.
7. Unscrew the wheel nuts.
8. Change the wheel.
9. Screw on the wheel nuts.
10. Lower the vehicle and remove the
jack.
11. Install the wheel wrench ensuring
that it is located securely and
tighten each bolt in a crosswise
sequence. The tightening torque
is 160 Nm for 15 inches wheels
and 180 Nm for 16 inches wheels.
12. Align the valve hole in the wheel
cover with the tyre valve before
installing.
Install the wheel nut caps.
13. Store the replaced wheel, the
vehicle tools
163 and the
adapter for the locking wheel nuts.
14. Check the tyre pressure of the
installed tyre and the wheel nut
torque as soon as possible.
