(7) Detaching and refitting the bypass paper feed pulley and bypass separation pad

Follow the procedure below to replace the bypass paper feed pulley and bypass separation pad.

Procedure

1. Open the front cover and remove the waste

toner box. Pull out the drawer.

2. Remove the screw and then the front left

lower cover.

3. Remove the paper conveying unit (see page

1-6-11).

4. Remove the stop ring and bushing at the

machine front side.

5. Remove the rear cover.
6. Remove the stop ring and bypass paper feed

clutch gear at the machine rear side.
