8.SETTING
8.1.Setting operation
To set sensitivity factor, set points, range changeover, degassing, filament, recorder
output and baud rate, make settings according to the explanations in 8.1 and higher.
These settings can be entered from the front panel or through the communication RS-
232C. Here, items to be entered from the front panel are explained.
A set status and set values are retained even after the power is turned off and are
effective at the next startup.

Inputs from the front panel are not feasible when in the [REMOTE] status. Always
reset them before input, because the keys on the front panel are locked when in the
[REMOTE] status.

(ENTER)] key is pressed after entering a numeric value out the settable range,

] error will be displayed for about 1 second. Enter a settable value again.
