Troubleshooting - Doesn't Reconnect After Restore
Normally when you restore your settings from the SD card, the unit will load the settings and
restart with the new settings in place. (See
“ Restore from SD Card ” on page 48 for details.)
In some cases, when you are restoring settings from a backup on the SD card, have the unit
configured to use a DHCP address and you are using Chrome, Firefox, or Safari, the login
page does not appear and instead the browser tells you it cannot access that IP address.
If this happens, the process goes as expected up to the point that the unit restarts:
After sitting at this progress bar for a while, your browser reports that it couldn't connect to
the IP address. You may note that the IP address is not the DHCP IP address the unit had
been using previously; it is a self-assigned IP address such as 192.168.0.10.
If this occurs, you need to type the DHCP IP address of the CORIOmatrix into the address
bar of your browser. Once you point your browser at the correct IP address, you will be able
to connect as expected to the unit, which now has restored settings.
