Routing
3. In the resulting pop-up window, look in the lower section, labelled Audio Follow Video
Setting (AFV).
4. The four potential channels are shown as
AFVChoiceA
,
AFVChoiceB
,
AFVChoiceC
and
AFVChoiceD
. To the right of each of these, you can choose an
audio source from any of your audio input options. Simply select the appropriate slot
and input number in the first column and the appropriate channel from that card in
the second column.
5. When you have configured all available audio channels as you wish, click the
Save
changes
button in the bottom right corner. You are returned to the routing page, and
any time you select that input for an output, the table will show a yellow lozenge (or
multiple yellow lozenges, if audio is split between multiple inputs) in the appropriate
cell intersecting that output with whichever input is the audio source.
Note
: This section shows four channels even if the video card only supports
two channels, such as an HD-SDI input module. In this case, the selections for
AFVChoiceC and AFVChoiceD will be ignored. If you are unsure how many
channels are available for that input and you have a monitor card, check the
number of audio bars associated with the input in the Monitor section.
Note
: All audio for a given routing must come from the same card - if you try to
select multiple cards as sources, you will see an alert message notifying you
that your inputs must all be co-timed.
