Resolution Editor Guide 

 

 
 

 

Read Output Resolution 

 
Read which resolution is currently set for an output. 
 

Command 

Slots.Slot16.Out1.Resolution 

(In this case, Slot 16 and Out 1 are used as an example - any valid slot number and output 
number can be used in that context.) 
 

Description 

Reads the resolution currently set for an output.

If the properties of the Custom Resolution are changed, then the resolution will be reapplied 
on the output and the connection to the output device will be renegotiated.

you will need set the output to the new Custom Resolution 

Name

If more than one Custom Resolution has the same name, when you set a Custom 
Resolution of that name to an output, unexpected behavior may result. 
 
Custom Resolutions cannot be applied to an SDI output.
