Routing
99
As soon as you press the
Cut to Black
button, all outputs are set to black (even if you are in
Synchronized mode - you do not have to press the
Take
button). You can tell
Cut to Black
has been implemented because the notification area shows the message "Set all outputs to
black" and the
Cut to Black
button is a deeper green, indicating that it is currently in a
pressed state. See below for a comparison of the inactive and active button states.
To reverse this, press the
Cut to Black
button a second time. Video and audio outputs are
set back to their previous configuration. The notification area says "Set all outputs to auto"
and the
Cut to Black
button returns to its original color.
Command Line
This feature is also available via command line. If you are not confident with the command
line interface, please use the GUI provided; however, if you are comfortable with the
command line and wish to use it instead of the user interface, the command is
sXoY.CutToBlack = On. While it is black, the output retains source information. This
parameter is not retained in SaveAllSettings() - this is intentional and means an output that
was set to black will show original routing configuration after the unit is restarted.
