Editing Pixel Clock Property from Command Line
Learn how to set the
Pixel Clock
for a Custom Resolution via the command line.
Command
Resources.Resolutions.Resolution1000.PixelClock
Description
The
Pixel
Clock
value is the speed of the
Pixel
Clock
in pixels per second.
The minimum and maximum values are dependent on the following:
p = h * v * f where:
p
Pixels per second
h
Horizontal total pixels
v
Vertical total pixels
f
Frame rate in frames per second
For example, for 1920x1080p60, h=2200, v=1125, and f=60. This gives p = 2200 * 1125 * 60
=
148.5MHz
Example
Resources.Resolutions.Resolution1000.PixelClock = 148500000
Resources.Resolutions.Resolution1000.PixelClock = 148500000
!Done Resources.Resolutions.Resolution1000.PixelClock = 148500000
Default
0
Notes
The valid range for the
Pixel
Clock
is 13.5MHz to 162MHz. As the value in pixels is a
function of resolution (including frame rate), the minimum and maximum value in
Pixel
Clock
varies with the resolution.
For example:
The minimum
Pixel
Clock
at 640x480p60 is 800 * 525 * 59.94 = 25.175MHz (Note that p60
is nomenclature - the rate is actually 59.94MHz)
The maximum
Pixel
Clock
at 1600x1200p60 is 2160 * 1250 * 60 = 162MHz
