VelociTach Motor Control Board
The motor control board:
•
Coordinates the operation of the fan in response to
electric heat behavior and electric behavior in
response to hydronic heat behavior.
•
Incorporates a user interface that allows adjustment of
certain unit parameters and provides constant
feedback on motor operation.
•
Integrates service and troubleshooting tools, including
high-precision tachometers, fan status, and electric
heat-enabled indicators.
•
Integrates a versatile configurable auxiliary
temperature sensor.
•
Incorporates various safety and lockout features, such
as maintaining proper fan speeds if electric heat is
called for.
Status Display
The motor control board contains a four-digit, seven-
segment display that is used to present information in a
format close to real-world language, while having a small-
form factor. Most characters are immediately
recognizable; however, please consult
Table 37
and
Table 38
for the graphical representation of each
alphanumeric character.
