Working Envelope

Fig. 3.3 and 3.4 shows the working envelope of the robot.
Each axis can operate within the working envelope. To prevent the robot from moving
out of the working envelope by mis-operation, the robot is equipped with mechanical
stoppers outside the working envelope.
In addition, there are travel limits (hereinafter called soft limits) which are set by
software. The settings of soft limits can be changed by the user. For details, see the
"Instruction Manual: User Parameters" provided as a separate volume.
