One special icon is the Recycle Bin. You use the Recycle Bin to 
delete files and remove objects from the desktop. You’ll learn 
more about the Recycle Bin in “Lesson 11: Removing Objects 
from the Desktop” on page 73.

Follow these steps to explore the desktop:

1 Move the pointer to the Start button and click once. 

Windows 95 displays a menu (a list of options) that contains 
everything you need to begin using your computer.
