Using the CD-ROM Drive
The CD-ROM drive is easy to use. You insert compact discs into
it while the computer is turned on, and change compact discs
whenever you want to (as long as the system is not reading from
the disc).
Once you insert a CD-ROM into the drive, refer to the documenta-
tion provided with the compact disc to perform any necessary
installation procedures.
If the diskette drive module is currently installed in the SelectBay,
remove it and insert the CD-ROM module, following the instruc-
tions in “Swapping Drives in the SelectBay” on page 115.
Inserting a Compact Disc
To insert a compact disc into the CD-ROM drive, follow these
steps:
