Swapping Drives in the SelectBay  

Part I: Getting To Know Your Computer

Removing the diskette drive module from the external chassis

3 Pull the diskette drive module out of the chassis and set it 

aside.

Prepare the Computer

Before swapping drive modules in the SelectBay, shut down the 
computer.

Make sure the power is off before you swap a module into or 
out of the SelectBay. Removing or inserting a module while 
the computer is on may damage the computer, the drive or 
both.

Remove the Module from the SelectBay

Follow these steps to remove the module from the SelectBay:

computer to the right, unlocking the SelectBay module.
