Using Your Computer on Your Desk

The NoteDock II  

Part I: Getting To Know Your Computer

The Set Password dialog box

6 Type a password of one to 16 characters in the Enter new 

password box.

You may use any combination of letters and numbers in your 
password.

7 Type the password again in the Re-enter new password 

box.

If the passwords match, the OK button is enabled.

8 Click OK.

The Toshiba System Control Panel displays the Security tab 
with the System Password listed as “Registered.”

9 In the Undock Password section of the dialog box, click 

Enable.

10 Click OK.

The Undock Password is registered.

“Using a Password” on page 243.

The NoteDock II

The expansion port allows you to connect your computer to an 
optional NoteDock II port replicator. The NoteDock II is an excel-
lent investment if you’re using your computer both in and out of 
the office.
