This group lets you set or reset the user-level password for power-
on and instant security. See “Using a Password” on page 243 for 
complete information on your computer’s password features.

HARD DISK

This section lets you set the hard drive mode. There will always be 
an option for Int. Standard HDD. This is the computer’s built-in 
hard disk.

Text Mode 
Stretch

Enabled

The screen has a height of 
600 pixels. In text mode, 
which uses 400 pixels, this 
leaves a blank space 
above and below the text 
on the screen. Enabling 
this mode stretches the 
text to fill more of the
